Surgical Consultant Glaucoma Specialist

Inspire Medical are working with an established private eye clinic group in Ireland to hire a Surgical Consultant Glaucoma Specialist to join its expanding network. This role offers an autonomous, consultant-led private practice environment, supported by advanced diagnostic infrastructure and an active clinical trials department.

Essential Requirements:

• Completed a sub-specialty clinical Glaucoma Fellowship with years of consultant-level experience
• Proven expertise in active glaucoma surgery and high-volume cataract procedures
• EU Passport / EU Right to Work is required
• Eligible for Specialist Registration (or already registered) with the Medical Council of Ireland (IMC)

Key Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management for primary and secondary glaucomas
• Perform high-volume anterior segment surgery, complex cataract extractions (phacoemulsification), and advanced MIGS procedures
• Manage outpatient clinics, diagnostic evaluations, and long-term glaucoma surveillance
