About the Role

Primary Care Social Work is a generic, community-based service covering the lifespan from cradle to grave. As part of the team, you will work with individuals and families presenting with a diverse range of social care needs.

The role may involve supporting:

• Frail and older people
• People experiencing domestic violence
• Future care planning
• Palliative care service users
• People experiencing chronic self-neglect
• Bereavement and loss
• People living with life-limiting or life-changing illnesses
• A wide range of complex social and family circumstances within the community

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold current registration with CORU as a Social Worker.
• Be resident in Ireland.
• Hold one of the following immigration permissions or statuses:
• EU Passport
• Stamp 1G
• Stamp 2
• Stamp 4
• Stamp 4D
• Stamp 5
• 4 EUFam
• Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
• Provide International Police Clearance if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16.
