Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and support in accordance with individual care plans
- Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion for service users
- Support daily living activities and encourage the development of life skills
- Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
- Adhere to safeguarding policies, HIQA standards, and organisational procedures at all times
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment
Essential Requirements
- CORU Registration as a Social Care Worker is essential
- A recognised qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
- Previous experience within residential, disability, mental health, or community services desirable
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and waking nights
- Full right to work in Ireland
