Occupational Therapist – Temporary, Project-Based Role

We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists to join a temporary, project-based initiative based in Clontarf, Dublin, with some activity across nearby satellite services.
There may also be occasional requirements to work from CRC locations in Hartstown, Ongar and Firhouse.
This is an exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapists who are passionate about supporting adults with disabilities to achieve meaningful outcomes and greater participation in their communities.
About the Role
Assessments will be pre-arranged and coordinated by CRC, with Occupational Therapists working with adults to understand their individual circumstances, aspirations, strengths and support needs.
The assessment process will focus on:
- Individual life aspirations and future goals
- Community participation and inclusion
- Supports required to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Identification of unmet needs and opportunities for development
We are particularly interested in Occupational Therapists who take a progressive, person-centred and strengths-based approach to disability support and who are committed to enabling people to have greater choice, autonomy and participation in their lives.
The Ideal Candidate
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Share CRC's values of person-centredness, respect, collaboration, courage, quality and stewardship
- Have experience working with adults with disabilities
- Understand the principles of New Directions and rights-based service delivery
- Are skilled in engagement, interviewing, facilitation and gathering meaningful information from adults with diverse communication needs
- Demonstrate a progressive and strengths-based approach to disability support
- Are committed to promoting independence, inclusion, choice and meaningful participation
Key Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold current registration with CORU
- Have a full driving licence and access to a car
- Be resident in Ireland and hold one of the following immigration permissions/statuses:
- EU Passport
- Stamp 1G
- Stamp 2
- Stamp 4
- Stamp 4D
- Stamp 5
- 4 EUFam
- Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting
- Provide International Police Clearance if they have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16

Salary range
- €45,514 - €57,894 per year
