Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Educator (CNM 2 Grade) to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of nursing practice by developing and delivering high-quality education and training programmes within one of Ireland's leading specialist mental health services.

Our client is a 131-bed inpatient mental health service providing specialist care for adults with complex and enduring mental health conditions with national recognition for the provision of highly specialised care. Their person centred, recovery-focused approach is delivered by a team of over 200 professionals across Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology, Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Speech & Language Therapy, and General Practice.

As Nurse Educator, you will design, coordinate, deliver and evaluate evidence-based education and training programmes, supporting the professional development of registered nurses, healthcare assistants, and multidisciplinary staff.

Essential criteria:

• Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Registered as, or eligible for registration as a Nurse Tutor with NMBI.
• Minimum three years post-registration clinical experience.
• Strong teaching, communication, planning, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to professional development and quality patient care.

Desirable:

• Dual qualification in General and Psychiatric Nursing.
• Experience in curriculum development and programme delivery.
• Mental health nursing experience.
