Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Scientist specialising in Histology to join their dynamic laboratory team. This role will require the ability to work in Histology and be competent in performing laboratory tests and responsible for processing and authorising under the direction of the Senior Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing, maintaining and enforcing procedures relating to all areas of the laboratory and its related testing equipment
• Perform scientific work to the required INAB and JCI Accreditation Standards, as determined by the Senior Medical Scientist and the Laboratory Manager.
• Prioritise and organise work during busy periods and co-ordinate multiple concurrent testing.
• Participate in the implementation of quality management programmes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
• Experience in Histology essential.
• Experience in Cut Up would be advantageous
• Post qualification experience.
