Cpl Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for an exciting leadership opportunity within a specialist mental health service in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior mental health nurse to take the next step in their career, leading and supporting nursing teams while driving excellence in patient care, clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and professional leadership to nursing teams
• Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred mental health care
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives
• Support workforce planning, staff development, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative, and professional standards
• Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and organisational change

Requirements

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with active NMBI registration
• Minimum 7 years' post-registration experience within mental health services
• Significant management experience, including leadership at CNM level or above
• Strong background in clinical governance, quality improvement, and service delivery
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health legislation and regulatory standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Passion for delivering safe, high-quality, recovery-focused care
