Service Manager – Residential Care

📍 Clonmel, Co. Tipperary | Full-Time: Monday - Friday

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a residential care service supporting young people aged 16–17 in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and develop a high-performing residential team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant childcare regulations and standards
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and service delivery
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, and reporting
  • Collaborate with external agencies to support positive outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • CORU-approved Social Care qualification (or pending registration)
  • Proven management experience within social care/residential settings
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and report writing skills
  • Experience working with at-risk young people
