We are recruiting for a Travel Vaccination nurse for our clients clinic in Dublin 18.

Hours can be full or part-time.

Candidates must be RGN NMBI registered and be able to work full-time.

Experience in Occupational Health, Practice Nursing and Travel Vaccinations a distinct advantage

Accountabilities

• Provide travel health and occupational health risk assessments and advice to clients both in the travel clinic, pharmacy or other healthcare setting and on the telephone.
• Administer relevant immunizations, anti-malarial prophylaxis, occupational health medication and other medicines in line with Patient Group Directions.
• Maintain accurate medical records utilizing software.
• Adhere to and use company policies and procedures.
• Work within guidelines to ensure smooth running of the clinic or service.
• Assist with clinical audit (within the clinic) and provide clinical input to service development projects.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Be a competent practitioner and maintain clinical competency and skills in line with the NMBI code of conduct
• Act as an advocate for the patient, customer, organization and families at all times
• Have an awareness of your clinics performance and proactively manage and promote profitability
• To demonstrate sound clinical judgement and risk based decision making at all times.
