Job Description

Support Pharmacist (North West Kildare)
QR Select are currently recruiting for a Support Pharmacist for a full-time, permanent position in a busy community pharmacy working in North West Kildare
The role is with an independent pharmacy
The rota would involve working 9am to 6pm including every 2nd Saturday.
As a Support Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, patients, suppliers, and the wider community.
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
  • Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions.
  • Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, promptly addressing any health and safety concerns with the pharmacy manager.
  • Delivering the highest standards of care and service to patients while on duty.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs provided by the pharmacy.
  • Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the pharmacy team.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm degree.
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
