Consultant Psychiatrist – CAMHS (Locum)

We are arranging consultant psychiatry cover within Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The role involves outpatient assessment and review clinics, multidisciplinary team participation, and ongoing care planning for young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and clinical reviews for children and adolescents.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• Contribute to care plans, risk management, family support and therapeutic pathways.

• Participate in clinical governance, documentation and case meetings.

• Maintain professional standards in accordance with IMC and national care guidelines.

Requirements

• Irish Medical Council (IMC) registration on the Specialist Division (Psychiatry).

• Experience in CAMHS or youth mental health settings.

• Strong MDT communication and case management capability.

• Ability to work safely, ethically, and collaboratively in a clinical environment.

Contract Type

• Locum or contract.
