Job Description

Supervising Pharmacist - Ennis
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Ennis Co.Clare, the pharmacy is busy with a strong support team in place
This is a full-time permanent position.
The hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday
As a Supervising Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
  • Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
  • Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of required medications.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and providing leadership to the team.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked.
  • Supervising and supporting the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of service.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
  • Building rapport with customers and addressing their healthcare needs.

Salary range
