We are currently recruiting a Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred children’s respite service in Sligo.

This role involves supporting children with intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex health needs, while assisting the Respite Services Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.

🕒 Hours: 30 hours per week (Part-Time)

🌟 The Role

As Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and HIQA-compliant environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant service
• Lead and guide staff teams across varied shifts
• Manage rotas, staff supervision, training, and communication
• Oversee the implementation and review of individual support and care plans
• Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders
• Maintain excellent standards in health & safety and documentation
• Support the Respite Services Manager with daily operations

📝 Requirements

• QQI Level 6 Major Award in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a HIQA-registered service
• Strong understanding of person-centred practice
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Flexibility with working hours
