We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Pharmacist to join a busy, independent community pharmacy based in Roscommon.

Support Pharmacist - Roscommon
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Pharmacist to join a busy, independent community pharmacy based in Roscommon.

As Support Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, patients, suppliers, and the wider community.
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
- Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, promptly addressing any health and safety concerns with the pharmacy manager.
- Delivering the highest standards of care and service to patients while on duty.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs provided by the pharmacy.
- Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the pharmacy team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- A patient-focused approach to community pharmacy
- A willingness to support and mentor colleagues and students
