Excel Healthcare Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supervising Pharmacist to join a well-established community pharmacy in Ranelagh, Dublin 6.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to join a supportive pharmacy team. The role offers an attractive four-day working week with no weekends or late nights.

Role Overview: The Supervising Pharmacist will take responsibility for the professional and efficient operation of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service. The successful candidate will supervise the dispensary team, support the safe supply of medicines and ensure the pharmacy operates in line with all relevant professional and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the pharmacy
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide professional advice to patients
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and customer service
• Supervise and support the pharmacy team in the delivery of an efficient dispensary service
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation, regulations and procedures
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation
• Support effective stock management and dispensary operations
• Build strong relationships with patients and the local community
• Contribute to the continued development and success of the pharmacy

Essential Requirements:

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a pharmacy team
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to professional standards
