Job Title: Staff Grade Occupational Therapist (Community Mental Health)

Location: Longford

Contract type: 1 year contract, Full time, 35 hours per week.

Salary: Aligned with HSE Payscale

Excel Healthcare is delighted to partner with a Community Adult Mental Health Team in Longford, seeking a CORU-registered Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated and compassionate team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a person-centred, recovery-focused service, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to build independence, resilience, and improved quality of life within their community.

About the Role

As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role within the multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and supporting service users on their recovery journey.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Hold full CORU registration
• Post grad experience working in adult mental health, preferably.
• Have experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team (highly desirable)
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• IT skills/knowledge appropriate to the role
• Car owner, full drivers license.
