Social Work Assistant
Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 4 Social Work Assistant for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Community Service in Antrim.
Who are we looking for?
The Social Work Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting social work managers in the provision of quality social work services to children and families. You will work within a Children's Services Team and will undertake tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in the discharge of their duties. The Social Work Assistant will also be expected to ensure continuing professional development through training, supervision and learning in line with NISCC registration requirements.

Requirements
- NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in a care-related subject and 1 years' experience working in a social care role
OR
NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in a care-related subject and 2 years' experience working in a social care role
OR
4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) and 3 years' experience working in a social care role.
*For those who do not hold Level 3, should be willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Support
