Orange Recruitment is currently seeking CORU-registered Social Care Workers, or candidates in the process of CORU registration, to join established Autism services in North County Dublin. These services support adults in residential and independent living settings, promoting independence, inclusion, and quality of life.
Applicants must be authorised to work in Ireland.
Role Overview
The Social Care Worker will deliver high-quality, person-centred and rights-based support to individuals with autism. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on empowering individuals to live meaningful lives aligned with their goals, values, and choices.
Key Responsibilities
Build respectful, trusting relationships that uphold dignity, privacy, and emotional safety
Promote independence, self-advocacy, and informed decision-making
Support community participation, education, employment, and social inclusion
Deliver supports in line with person-centred plans, HIQA standards, and best practice
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
Essential Requirements
Authorised to work in Ireland
CORU registered or in the process of registration
QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies (Disability) or equivalent recognised qualification
Qualifications recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board or NARIC
Experience in autism, disability, residential, or community services
Fluent English and strong communication skills
Commitment to person-centred, rights-based care
