Social Care Worker – Children’s Residential Services

Location: Mitchelstown, Cork

Cpl Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with a respected provider of children’s residential services dedicated to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care. Our client works closely with young people to protect and support them in building resilience, recovering from early life trauma, and reaching their full potential—giving them the opportunity for a brighter future.

We are currently accepting applications from Social Care Workers to join the team at the Mitchelstown service in Cork, working as part of a committed residential care team supporting vulnerable young people.

The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing residential environment where young people can feel secure, valued, and empowered.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Level 7 qualification in one of the following disciplines:
  • Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Social Care Practice, or Social Work
  • A full, clean manual driver’s licence valid in Ireland
  • Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres
  • Legal eligibility to work in Ireland
