We are currently recruiting Full-time, Part-time and Relief Social Care Worker's. Our aim is to support families and individuals where they are at, by identifying and navigating towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner.

The successful Social Care Workers will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of the individuals we support.
Salary: Competitive, Up to €17.50 per hour DOE

General Job Description
- Provide individualised support to service users on a one-to-one basis or as part of a small team, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
- Deliver services using a holistic and person-centred approach, ensuring that all support reflects each individual's care plan and personal goals.
- Work within the community, supporting service users to participate in daily activities and maintain social inclusion.
- Carry out a range of support services, including but not limited to:
- Outreach and community integration
- School transport assistance
- Family access supervision
- Supporting individuals with daily living needs such as personal care, meals, appointments, and social activities
- Follow and implement care plans, working on your own initiative while maintaining regular communication with your line manager.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and codes of practice at all times to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and empowering environment for all individuals supported by the service.

- Must have a minimum QQI LEVEL 7 qualification in Health Care OR Social Care relevant equivalency.
- Be registered in the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board maintained at CORU
- Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
- This post is subject to Garda clearance.
- A full driving licence is essential.

- BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7)
- The National Diploma in Childcare awarded by HETAC V0.2.1 2.
- The National Diploma in Applied Social Care Studies awarded by HETAC.
- The Diploma in Social Care awarded by HETAC.
- The Diploma in Applied Social Studies / Social Care
- National Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities), the Open Training College (HETAC Accredited)
- Youth and Community Work qualification
- BA(Hons) Youth and Community Development
- BA (Hons) Psychology
- BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies
- QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
- QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
- Professional Qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
- Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
- QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis
- QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care where centre caters for children under 12 years.
- BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
- Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
- Disability Diploma (Primary Degree).
- Degree in Social Science
