We're urgently seeking CORU-registered Social Care Workers to join agency teams across Tusla Residential Centres. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a real, positive impact on the lives of young people in care, while enjoying the flexibility of agency work.

As a Social Care Worker, you will provide hands-on support, guidance, and supervision to children and adolescents, helping them develop essential life skills, emotional resilience, and confidence in a safe, structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings.
• Foster positive relationships with young people, encouraging growth, development, and independence.
• Assist in daily routines, including education support, recreational activities, and personal care.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and care plans.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Uphold CORU standards, policies, and best practices at all times.

Requirements

• Current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker.
• Proven experience in residential, social, or youth care settings preferred.
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to child protection and safeguarding standards.
