Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organisation responding to the needs of children and their families through community-based supports and services. Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for Social Care Worker's to join our Outreach & Community Service within Dublin and its surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting Full-time, Part-time and Relief Social Care Worker's. Our aim is to support families and individuals where they are at, by identifying and navigating towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner.

General Job Description

The successful Social Care Workers will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of the individuals we support.

Requirements
  • Candidates for the Social Care Worker Must have a minimum QQI LEVEL 7 qualification in Health Care OR Social Care relevant equivalency.
  • • Be registered in the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board maintained at CORU (or have entitlement to be registered and obtain registration prior to appointment)
  • Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
  • This post is subject to Garda clearance.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • Candidates must have a deep commitment to everyone's rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

Acceptable qualifications:
  • BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7)
  • The National Diploma in Childcare awarded by HETAC V0.2.1 2.
  • The National Diploma in Applied Social Care Studies awarded by HETAC.
  • The Diploma in Social Care awarded by HETAC.
  • The Diploma in Applied Social Studies / Social Care
  • National Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities), the Open Training College (HETAC Accredited)
  • Youth and Community Work qualification
  • BA(Hons) Youth and Community Development
  • BA (Hons) Psychology
  • BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies
  • QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
  • QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
  • Professional Qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
  • Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
  • QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis
  • QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care where centre caters for children under 12 years.
  • BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
  • Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
  • Disability Diploma (Primary Degree).
  • Degree in Social Science
