Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organisation responding to the needs of children and their families through community-based supports and services. Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting for Social Care Worker's to join our Outreach & Community Service within Dublin and its surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting Full-time, Part-time and Relief Social Care Support workers/ HCA. Our aim is to support families and individuals where they are at, by identifying and navigating towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner.

General Job Description

The successful Social Care Support Workers will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and will be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and some experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of each individual.

Requirements
  • Candidates for the Social Care Support Worker Must have a minimum QQI LEVEL 5 qualification in Health Care and or social care or relevant equivalency.
  • Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
  • This post is subject to Garda clearance.
  • A full driving licence is mandatory.
  • Candidates must also have a deep commitment to individuals rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.

Acceptable qualifications:
  • Minimum of a QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support
  • Pre-nursing Studies
  • Professional Qualification in Teaching (Not TEFL)
  • Family Support Practitioner [Certification for a relevant qualification at a minimum of level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (NFQ) in the areas of family support, social care, childcare or education
  • OR an equivalent nationally recognised qualification or a higher award in the areas of family support, social care, childcare or education AND a suitable standard of professional attainments and the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office
