On behalf of a leading disability organisation, TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting the following positions for the Kilkenny area.

Social Care worker – Salary from €€ 36,379.00 to € 52,445.00

Social care Leader – Salary from € 44,111.00 to € 52,445.00

All contracts are permanent.

Roster:

The Social Care Worker will work a fully flexible roster across 7 days and nights and the Social Care Leader will work Monday to Friday, short days with flexibility and will have the option of working on call with an allowance of €3904 per annum extra.

Requirements for Team Lead role:

  • A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care or in a relevant professional discipline.
  • At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector
  • Detailed understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within disability services.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams.
  • A full drivers licence is an essential requirement

Requirements for Social Care Worker role:

Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.

  • Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
  • An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • A full driver’s licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
