Social Care Leader (Limerick City)

Kate Cowhig International Healthcare Recruitment are currently recruiting Social Care Leaders/ Designated Centre Administrators for an inclusive and progressive organisation committed to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism – assisting them to lead full and valued lives within their respective communities.

Candidates must have a solid understanding of disability services within Ireland.

Location of Post: Limerick City, Ireland

Minimum Criteria:

• Hold a minimum Level 7 third level qualification in Social Care, Social Work or Nursing with CORU or NMBI registration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with people with an Intellectual Disability
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a strong working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
• Have previous supervisory experience
• Possess a full clean driving licence, own vehicle and be willing and able to drive a vehicle with up to 8 passenger seats
• Be prepared to be on call as required

Desirable Criteria:

• Working with budgets and accounts
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
• A relevant Level 6 qualification in People Management
• 1 to 3 years Management experience while not essential is desirable
