Senor Occupational Therapist – Homeless Service - Northwest

CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with a leading non-profit organisation in the Northwest that works with clients who have experienced long-term homelessness, chronic trauma and other related issues including mental health and addiction.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will support service users to integrate them into the community, through provision of day to day living skills as a means to aid functional recovery.

Working with service users in their own homee, you will carry out assessments in line with need and provide therapeutic interventions designed to best suit the needs of the individual by devising, implementing and reviewing ongoing care plans and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

This role will cover the Northwest region of Co. Sligo, Co. Donegal and Co. Leitrim.

Interested candidates are required to:

· Hold a recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist and registration with CORU

· Have a minimum of 3 years qualification clinical experience, with a significant amount in mental health and / or working with clients from a marginalised background

· Work collaboratively with the HF team to identify, prioritise and manage the needs of individual service users.

· Utilise and adapt recovery interventions specific to service users' needs.

· To establish trusting relationships especially with service users and engage them in work that enables them to move to a more stable lifestyle.

· Permission to work in Ireland

· Hold a full clean driver’s licence and access to a car
