Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist on behalf of a leading healthcare provider for a permanent position based in Beaumont Lodge, Dublin, with travel to other locations as required. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a senior leadership role within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation service, supporting patients to maximise independence, recovery, and quality of life.
Salary €63,279 - €67,399 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of a high-quality Physiotherapy service within Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care Unit
- Carry a complex clinical caseload and provide specialist rehabilitation assessment and treatment
- Develop, implement person-centred rehabilitation programmes, and SMART goals
- Lead discharge planning and facilitate safe transitions of care
- Provide clinical leadership and expert Physiotherapy advice to the multidisciplinary team
- Supervise, mentor and support Staff Grade Physiotherapists and students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, family meetings, and service reviews
- Support service development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits
- Ensure compliance with CORU standards, HIQA standards, and organisational policies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
- Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development
- Promote evidence-based practice, innovation, and continuous service improvement
Requirements
- Recognised Physiotherapy qualification eligible for CORU registration
- Current registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum three years post-qualification clinical experience
- Experience in rehabilitation, older persons care, stroke rehabilitation, or acute medicine
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously at Senior Physiotherapist level
- Experience supervising Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, and students
- Excellent clinical, leadership, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation pathways and discharge planning
- Full driver's licence and access to a car
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable Criteria
- Postgraduate qualification in rehabilitation, orthopaedics, or older person's care
- Leadership, management, or mentoring training
- Strong IT and documentation skills
