Locum Psychologist

Location: Rathfarnham, Dublin
Grade: Senior preferred; experienced Basic Grade candidates will also be considered
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week
Part-time: Considered

We are currently seeking an experienced Psychologist to join a hospital-based service in Rathfarnham.

We are ideally looking for a Senior Psychologist, although an experienced Basic Grade Psychologist will also be considered for the role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with adult patients.
• Previous hospital or clinical experience.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

To be considered, applicants must have:

• A recognised Doctorate qualification in Psychology.
• Current registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
• The legal right to work in Ireland, with one of the following:
• EU Passport
• Valid GNIB/IRP permission with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or EUFam Stamp 4
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
• An International Police Clearance Certificate if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16.
