Pharmacy Technician

Excel Healthcare Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy and well-established independent pharmacy in Portarlington, Co. Laois.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to become part of a supportive and patient-focused team.

Duties:

• Deliver a high standard of customer service and patient care.
• Assist the Pharmacist in the accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Ensure all customer and prescription information is processed accurately and confidentially.
• Operate in accordance with current PSI regulations and pharmacy best practice guidelines.
• Manage stock control, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, checking deliveries, and removing expired stock.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a community pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to customer service and patient care.
