National Director, Disabilities – Access & Integration,

A unique executive leadership opportunity has arisen for a National Director of Disabilities within our clients Access & Integration (A&I) function.

This is a critical national leadership role, with responsibility for shaping and leading the strategic direction of disability services across Ireland. You will play a central role in driving system-wide reform, enhancing service access, improving outcomes, ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and performance frameworks, build strong relationships across key stakeholder groups and act as a national spokesperson and advocate for disability services.

Essential Experience:

• Senior executive leadership experience in health, social care or a comparable complex environment.
• Proven track record of:
  • Leading large-scale transformation and reform
  • Delivering strategic and operational change
  • Working across complex, multi-stakeholder systems
• Experience working with executive teams, boards and government stakeholders.
• Strong governance, risk management and strategic planning expertise.

Desirable

• Proven track record of working within disability services with experience of the operational, regulatory and strategic disability environment.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate key competencies including:

• A well-developed knowledge of the key challenges and issues across disabilities and the wider health system.
• Strategic thinking and systems leadership.
• Ability to drive large-scale organisational change.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and performance management capability.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for people with disabilities.

This is a significant national role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead significant transformation in Irish healthcare, influence national policy and service delivery for disability service users at the highest level, play a significant role in shaping the future of health and social care and work for an organisation committed to inclusion, equity, and innovation.

This permanent role is Dublin based with potential for hybrid working.
