Lucan - Support Pharmacist - Independent

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated in Lucan, Dublin.
This is a permanent full-time role, requiring 5 days per week with one Saturday in every three pattern necessary as part of the offering . No late nights, or Sundays are required.
The position demands a motivated pharmacist, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team. The store has a lovely team in place and it is a long-established, well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.
The system used is: Touchstore
Responsibilities:

• Providing clinical oversight of the dispensary and supervising dispensing activities
• Delivering patient consultations, medicines use reviews, and clinical services
• Operating the Touchstore dispensing and EPOS system to manage prescriptions and transactions
• Collaborating with the dispensary technician team to ensure safe and accurate prescription processing
• Advising patients on medications, side effects, interactions, and general health queries
• Supporting the delivery of community pharmacy services and HSE-contracted programmes
• Participating in the clinical governance framework and adhering to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring full regulatory compliance
• Supporting the development and well-being of the wider pharmacy team; &,
• Other day to day duties.

Requirements

• BSc (Pharm)/MPharm;
• Strong dispensing and clinical skills with a patient-centred approach
• Must be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI);;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good leadership abilities; &,
• Proven people management skills.
