About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents and service users while delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents and service users with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Providing person-centred care while maintaining dignity, respect and choice.
• Working closely with nursing and care teams to maintain a high standard of care.
• Supporting the comfort, wellbeing and independence of those in your care.
• Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming and positive care environment.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and currently residing in Ireland.

Training Requirements

While not essential at the application stage, successful candidates will be required to hold the following certifications before commencing work:

• CPR
• Patient Manual Handling
• HACCP Level 2

Having these certifications already completed is highly beneficial. If you do not currently hold them, our team can support you in arranging the required training.
