The organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of service users, meeting their needs through the provision of high-quality services and advocacy.

We are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health for services based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, covering County Donegal.

The purpose of this role is to support individuals with identified mental health needs. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement person-centred care plans for service users.

Requirements

  • Be registered as a nurse in the Psychiatric Division of the active Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by NMBI.
  • Hold a relevant Level 8 postgraduate qualification in Mental Health.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year's experience, or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time equivalent experience, in Mental Health Specialist Care.
  • Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the specialist area.
  • Be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties outlined in the job description and be in a state of health that indicates a reasonable prospect of being able to provide regular and efficient service.
  • Have access to your own vehicle and hold a full, clean driving licence.
