Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a Housing First Service based in Sligo and Leitrim.

This is a full time permanent contract working 39 hours per week between Monday to Friday (flexible working hours provided).

The Role:

The purpose of this post is to work with individuals with an identified need, in respects of requiring support in line with their mental health. The Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health will work in tandem with a multi-disciplinary team to devise and work towards person-centred care plans for the service users. The role will involve visiting service users in their own homes; to be best placed to carry out assessments in line with need and engage in therapeutic interventions designed to best suit the needs of the individual. The Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health will also build and maintain links within the community with mental health services and liaise with relevant services to support the integration of service users within the community. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be expected to advise and guide the team around Mental Health diagnosis and best practice.

Requirements:

Registered Psychiatric Nurse with full NMBI registration

Formal recognised post registration education relevant to the area of specialist practice at level 9

At least 1 year of experience in the specialist area (e.g., CAMHS, adult mental health, older persons, forensic, eating disorders, etc.)

A Level 9 postgraduate qualification (or higher) relevant to the specialist area.

Evidence of ongoing education, training, and professional development related to the specialty is required.
