Clinical Nurse Manager

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join a reputable nursing home in County Waterford.

Requirements:

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ post-registration experience, preferably within a nursing home or similar care setting.

• High level of clinical expertise and professionalism, supported by strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.

• Right to work in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing and social care in accordance with nursing home policies, procedures, and recognised best practices.

• Coordinate and monitor medication management processes, maintaining compliance with regulations and liaising with GPs and pharmacies for routine reviews and audits.

• Supervise, mentor, and motivate Staff Nurses and Care Assistants, encouraging continuous professional development and a resident-centred approach to care.

• Perform regular clinical, environmental, and medication audits, implementing corrective actions to enhance and sustain care standards.

• Act as a central contact for residents and their families, managing daily communication and responding effectively to queries or concerns.
