Clinical Nurse Manager

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join a reputable nursing home in County Clare.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• At least 2–3 years of relevant post-registration experience within a nursing home environment.

• Strong clinical and professional competence, with proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Right to work in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of nursing and social care in line with nursing home policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.

• Manage and supervise medication administration, ensuring adherence to protocols and working closely with GPs and pharmacies to facilitate regular reviews and audits.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Staff Nurses and Care Assistants, fostering ongoing professional development and a resident-focused culture.

• Carry out clinical, environmental, and medication audits, developing and implementing action plans to continuously improve and maintain quality standards.

• Serve as a key point of contact for residents and their families, handling day-to-day communication and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
