Location: Dublin
Are you a passionate educator ready to shape the future of nursing in a state-of-the-art healthcare hospital environment?
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Facilitator (CNM2 Grade) to join a world-class hospital team in Dublin.
The Role
As a key member of a Nurse Practice Development team, you will bridge the gap between theory and practice. You will lead the orientation of new staff, mentor students, and design evidence-based clinical teaching programmes to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Act as a role model and expert resource for nursing and healthcare assistant (HCA) staff.
Education & Mentorship: Coordinate regular schedules for staff training, professional development, and clinical competency assessments.
Quality & Audit: Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to align with HIQA Standards and international best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Nurse Managers to identify ward-level learning needs and develop targeted interventions.
Essential Criteria
Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register.
Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in an acute setting.
Proven experience in teaching or mentoring staff and students.
A teaching/assessing qualification or a commitment to undertake one.
