Bariatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Bariatric Clinical Nurse Specialist on behalf of a South Dublin based private Hospital that is renowned for career progression opportunities and excellent benefits package.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week in a brand new service.

The role will report directly to the Head of Endoscopy and Service Line Development with oversight from the Director of Clinical Services. The clinical service development and expansion will be led by the Obesity Service Clinical Director.

Requirements:

Relevant postgraduate qualification in bariatric nursing, obesity management, or a related experience is the area. (Level 8 or higher)

• Commitment to undertake a Level 9 qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice.
• Active registration with the NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
• Further qualifications in clinical leadership or healthcare management desirable.

• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
• At least 2 years’ experience in bariatric, surgical, or obesity-related care.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively—verbally, in writing, and through professional presentations.
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to mentor and develop clinical staff.
• Demonstrated clinical judgement, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proven multi-tasking capabilities and ability to work effectively under pressure.
