Overview of the role:&nbsp; The Cardiology Department carries out a wide range of cardiac investigations that include:<ul>
<li>ECGs – Recording/Interpretation and highlighting abnormal findings.</li><li>Transthoracic echocardiography – scanning &amp; reporting independently to BSE/EACVI/ARDMS standard.</li><li>Loop-recorder, pacemaker, ICD &amp; Biventricular device-interrogation &amp; follow-up, including home-monitoring &amp; Heart Rhythm Ireland database experience.</li><li>24-hour Holter monitoring – Patient hook up and technical downloading/ analysis interpretation.</li><li>24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring – Patient hook up and analysis of same.</li><li>Event Recording – Patient hook up and analysis.</li><li>
<h3>Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to include technical support for Angiograms &amp; percutaneous Coronary Intervention and competence during emergency procedures.</h3>
