Your work will span various settings, including clinics, schools, homes, and the community.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Plan and manage a caseload, providing assessments and interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.&nbsp;</li><li>Take a key role in setting and achieving goals with service users and their families.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain high-quality clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to overall service planning and development.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including families and other agencies.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in mandatory training and continuous professional development.&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a mandated person under the Children First National Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.&nbsp;</li><li>Promote a safe and inclusive working environment, supporting risk management and HIQA standards.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience&nbsp;Essential Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU AND&nbsp;</li><li>Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued&nbsp;</li></ul>AND&nbsp;<ul><li>Be eligible to work in the state&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driving licence for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transfer in order to delivery services across a large geographical area&nbsp;</li><li>On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU&nbsp;</li><li>Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland&nbsp;</li></ul>Desirable Criteria:&nbsp;<ul><li>Postgraduate experience of working with children and families in a community based setting.&nbsp;</li><li>Postgraduate experience working in disability services for a minimum of 6 months&nbsp;</li><li>Broad knowledge of the Progressing Disability Services for children and young people programme&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of working on interdisciplinary teams&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;What’s on Offer&nbsp;<ul><li>Competitive Salary: A salary scale of €40,738 - €59,540 </li></ul>
