Staff Nurse
Staff Nurse – Residential Care Centre
We are recruiting a Senior Staff Nurse for a Residential Care Centre supporting older persons. The role includes coordinating care on shift, guiding nursing and healthcare staff, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Act as senior clinical lead during shifts, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Support the nursing team with clinical decision-making and escalation where required.
Lead on medication management, care planning, documentation, and assessment.
Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and HCAs.
Maintain compliance with HIQA Standards and the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the centre.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Previous experience in elderly care or residential care settings.
Ability to lead and coordinate clinical activities effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Contract Type
Permanent, full-time.
Pay / Salary

Salary range
