Job Title: Senior &amp; Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapists Location: Meath or Drogheda Contract Type: 1-Year Full-Time Agency Contract Salary &amp; Benefits: HSE salary scale in line with experienceExcel Recruitment are recruiting two Speech and Language Therapists to join a friendly and supportive Children's Disability Network Team within an easy drive from north Dublin.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families, and to join a well-supported Children's Disability Network Team.The Team &amp; OpportunityYou will join an established Children's Disability Network Team, with strong multidisciplinary support and access to ongoing supervision and clinical development.<ul><li>Positions available within Children's Disability Network Teams in Meath or Drogheda.</li><li>Work with children (0-18 years) with a range of needs including developmental delays, autism, physical and sensory disabilities, and learning difficulties.</li><li>Be a key member of a collaborative MDT including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.</li><li>Access to regular training, CPD opportunities, supervision, and peer support as part of the Progressing Disability Services model.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention plans for children supported by the CDNT</li><li>Contribute to the development and review of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring goals reflect the priorities of the child and family</li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated, child-centred care</li><li>Prioritise caseloads in line with clinical needs and service requirements</li><li>Maintain high-quality documentation including assessment reports, therapy plans, and progress notes</li><li>Provide therapy within appropriate clinical, community, and educational settings</li><li>Ensure compliance with HSE policies, HIQA standards, Progressing Disability Services, and professional guidelines</li><li>Engage in service development, quality improvement, and clinical audit activities.</li></ul>Essential Requirements<ul><li>BSc/MSc in Speech &amp; Language Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)</li><li>CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist</li><li>Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience for Senior Grade applicants</li><li>Paediatric experience is welcomed, but not essential for Staff Grade roles</li><li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills</li><li>Eligibility or membership of the IASLT</li></ul>How to Apply:If you are a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist ready for a rewarding 1-year contract opportunity in Meath or Drogheda, we would love to hear from you.
