Clarity are currently recruiting for a paediatric community nurse based in MeathResponsibilities include<ul><li>Provide nursing care to a child</li><li>Gastrostomy tube feeds via feeding pump</li><li>Competent in all tracheostomy care, changing of ties, suctioning and changing tube in an emergency situation</li><li>Management and administration of nebs and suctioning</li><li>Monitoring for signs and symptoms of respiratory distress</li><li>Pressure area care</li><li>Medication Management</li><li>Seizure management</li><li>Care of a child with a disability</li><li>Manage enteral feeding and medication</li><li>Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)</li><li>Manage seizures</li><li>Provide play and family support</li><li>Provide excellent evidence-based nursing care, implementing all aspects of care plans based on the needs identified.</li><li>Prioritise the needs and comfort of the client.</li><li>Promote abilities, independence, and safeguard the client’s interests at all times</li><li>Work closely in partnership with family members and the clinical team</li><li>Communicate effectively with the client, family, clinical team, and MDT, reporting on the client’s clinical needs as required.</li><li>Maintain accurate and professional clinical note</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have:<ul><li>RGN/RCN qualified</li><li>NMBI registered</li><li>Must have a full drivers license and car</li><li>Previous experience in home care is an advantage</li></ul>For more information contact Laura on <a href="mailto:laura.mulchrone@clarityrecruitment.ie" target="_blank">laura.mulchrone@clarityrecruitment.ie</a>
