The successful candidate will have no one reporting into them but will be supported by a robust management team. Requirements: Essential<ul>
<li>Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with the Nursing &amp; Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).</li><li>Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role working with a team.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience in infection prevention and control.</li></ul>

<li>Evidence of continuing professional development.</li><li>Proven experience of designing and delivering staff training.</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship management skills.</li><li>A commitment to further study in the areas of IPC and SafeWards to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date, relevant and compliant.</li></ul>
Desirable:<ul>
<li>Postgraduate qualification in Infection Prevention &amp; Control, Nursing Management, SafeWards or related field.</li><li>Experience in Safe Wards model and quality improvement frameworks.</li><li>Proven track record in audit and risk management.</li></ul>
