This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic nurse to join our Stoma care team at Barts Healthcare Trust. You will primarily be based at Whipps Cross Hospital and Waltham Forest community. This post requires working closely with other stoma care and colorectal clinical nurse specialists within the Trust.
The post holder will play a pivotal role in the functioning of the stoma care CNS service and be a key member of the team working to deliver a high quality patient experience.
The post-holder will be responsible for a patient caseload and provide expert advice, education, information and support for our patients. It is essential to possess the knowledge and skills necessary for the post. The post holder will run nurse led clinics in the hospital and community, ward based education and patient review to facilitate effective health care delivery .
We require someone who can work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Leadership, innovation, motivation and excellent communication skills are essential
