Staff Nurse - Band 5 Intensive Care Unit

We are looking to recruit forward thinking, driven and talented nurses to join our exceptional team in one the largest and fastest growing Intensive Care Units in the Country. We strive to deliver safe and exceptional care in the 48 bedded state of the art unit at Southmead Hospital. The Intensive Care Unit is a regional centre for; major trauma, neurosciences, renal, burns, vascular and complex urology.
We offer a structured orientation and developmental programme, starting with the Foundation of Critical Care course for new starters to ICU. This consists of a series of study days during the first year covering all aspects of ICU nursing. We are fully committed to training and development, offering specialist courses for ICU, burns and neuro. We also have two simulation training suites located within the ICU and a dedicated education team.
There will be the opportunity to develop the clinical and leadership skills required to progress your career within our ICU. You will be working in Bristol – the capital of the South West. It's a beautiful, historic city and is as vibrant and lively now as it has ever been.
