The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse in Operating Theatres. This is a very busy and exciting expanding area which offers cutting-edge healthcare; our exceptional team of medical professionals have educated and stimulated their colleagues to go even further in their careers. The Theatre Department provides a comprehensive neurosurgical service covering the full range of neurosurgical patients including all cranial, simple and complex spinal conditions. It specializes in surgery for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. There is an excellent team of radiologists and vascular neurologists performing interventional procedures. The theatre department comprises of 6 theatres, including Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Angio suite. The recovery area has 6 beds. Operating Theatre is open from Apply
Monday – Friday and delivers On-Call service out of these hours. The successful candidate is expected to work on an early, late, long day and an on call shifts
