Staff Nurse – Endoscopy

Our client hospital is a 112 bed private hospital in Lucan, West Dublin. The Role

Currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join their JAG Accredited Endoscopy Unit. If you do not have experience in Endoscopy, training will be provided.

This is an ideal opportunity for a new grad or an experienced Nurse looking to receive training in a different area. Flexible working arrangements are also available.

The role holder will be expected to:

Work as a member of the nursing team and perform duties as allocated by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2.

Deliver skilled practical care to patients and participate in the monitoring of the planning, delivery and evaluation of individualised patient care, ensuring a patient centred focus.

Be aware of the multifaceted needs of Endoscopy patients and provide a holistic support service for them and their families.

Ensure compliance with all relevant hospital guidelines, policies, procedures and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements

Promote the delivery of a high standard of care to all Endoscopy patients.

Document all necessary care given on the Meditech Patient information system.

The Person

Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI

Hold an up-to-date Basic Life Support course or be in pursuit of same

Have good clinical and professional ability.
