TTM Healthcare have partnered with a leading Mental Health provider who have opening a new service based in Arnold, Nottingham to recruit a Registered Mental Health nurse to join their expanding team.
This is a brand-new service that has now launched and we are pleased to announce that we have now opened a new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for over 18 years of age. In addition, there will be additional mixed-gender acute service availability.
As a Registered Nurse your role will include:
Supervises a defined group of team members and contributes to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team.
You will also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
Evaluate and respond to changes in patients' condition and needs
Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
Ideally, you would need the following experience:
Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) with a Valid NMC PIN
If you are looking newly qualified looking for preceptorship - the relevant training and support would be provided
To be a team player
To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
Good listening and rapport building ability
To be able to organize and prioritise your time
