Job Description

Role: HCPC/NMC Registered – Disability Analyst
 
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria (Home Based for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19)
 
Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 pa, Full and Part Time roles available.

Clinical Staff groups:
 
  • NMC Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • HCPC Registered Paramedic
 
Government legislation requires the Individual to have at least 18 months post qualification. Please note driving licences are no longer required for these roles

Role overview:
 
  • Conducting thorough and consultative functional assessments on behalf of people who are living with a long-term health condition and/or disability (currently remotely due to Covid-19).
  • Following training, you will have the opportunity to cross train in complex cases, different processes for a PIP claim, or the potential to train in remote assessments and paper-based reviews.
  • Ensuring that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified and professional
  • produce excellent written reports on the conditions presented to help the Department for Work and Pensions to make an informed decision around an individual’s entitlement to the benefit
